Okay, sweetie, here's the thing. Until I read this, I would have never thought that I'd find any scenario where Dean gives up the Impala believable. (And pie too!) But it really works here. Even though it's not life or death, Dean is still sacrificing everything for Sam. That's so very Dean. -smile-

blincolin said I should really think about the whole selling of the Impala thing, but I clung to it in one of my stubborn moments. Dean's grand gesture (for me, at least). I have to have at least a little bit of sadness with the happy ending, you know. ;)

This is beautiful, hon. Dean taking care of Sam, biding his time while he pulls Sam out of his shell, and then giving them both the thing they really need--peace and each other. <3

I spotted something I think you need to fix?

There's pie for breakfast and they grin at each other over the black coffee they use to wash down double helpings of Berried Treasure Pie with whipped cream. They go back to the room to fuck again before they hit the road, Dean moaning as Sam bends him over the foot of the bed, before they hit the road.
