craigslist
Today, I posted on Craigslist an offer for free magazines.
Working in an advertising agency on an automotive account means that I have a subscription to every single magazine you can think of - especially, of course, car pubs. Auto Week, Road & Track, Import Tuner, Car Audio, African Americans on Wheels, I get 'em all. My personal favorite, though, (i.e. the one I don't bother to rip the wrapping off before throwing out) is Subie Sport. It features an almost-nekkid chick sprawled on top of an STi, month after month after month. The consistency/quality control really quite, um, amazing...
Anyway, this morning, I decided to do a little house cleaning and realized that it was an incredible waste to throw out all these piles of half-unread magazines that clutter up my office. There are people out there who might actually appreciate these, right?
So I offered 'em up to whoever was willing to come pick them up.

(Uh, NO. Why the FUCK would I waste my time carting over a bunch of car porn TEN BLOCKS for your lazy ass pleasure, when I can toss them five feet into my nearest trash bin and save myself a hernia?)
Not even a lukewarm attempt to be polite and/or appreciative . I just wanted a "Hi" before the question and maybe a "Thanks" at the end....
I think I just might throw them out and save myself the trouble. Because these people, I've decided, really suck.
Do any of you guys need any of these fine publications? Let me know.
