skin inc 5-in-1 hydrating nano gel

Aug 14, 2010 12:05

a multi tasking gel that repairs, hydrates, tones, protects and prime your skin - all in one simple step so you can get on with your day in a jiffy. this gel-based, water soluble emulsion harnesses nature's most powerful natural ingredients: seaweed extracts and vitamin c encapsulated in nano capsules that improve the delivery of these nutrients to the deep skin. nano technology ensures deep penetration of the active ingredients on demand. this hydrating gel also contains a rare Ocean White essence (pearl extract) and ceramide complex to whiten, nourish and hydrate the skin. all the ingredients work together to tone and prime the skin for makeup to glide on perfectly.

just realised i have not done a review of this..

sounds like a whole lot of goodness? to be honest, this is just simply a basic moisturiser to me, i dont notice any of the other effects.. or maybe i have not used it long enough to notice the other effects? (am done with 1 full sized bottle). it does work well as a makeup primer though.

basically a gel based moisturiser in a pump bottle, this glides on the skin easily, absorbs fast and does not need to be massaged into the skin. fragrance-free too. i prefer something that does not absorb so fast so that i can spend some time massaging the skin. at the same time, i appreciate the fact that it does not take forever to sink into the skin like some other moisturisers.

skin is mattte and smooth after application, makeup goes on easily. this would be better for normal - oily skin types IMO. when my skin is slightly drier, i need some extra moisture which this does not deliver.

all in all, a basic moisturiser more suited for normal/oily skintypes. way too expensive for my tastes so i will stick to my skin food lettuce and cucumber or dr dici:labo. not something i will repurchase, unless i can get a big discount (bought mine with birthday vouchers so i didnt feel that much pain) and i prefer skin food coz it leaves a cooling feeling on the skin when applied, this doesnt..
