Oh, so that's how it works.
I see how small chuches get stuff done....people volunteer you. :) Jane, the pastor, says to us on the way out today, "So, would you like to bring the gifts/offering (host & wine, although she called it "obalation," I think) up next week? Sheesh, only our third week or so attending! She's got a good point, though - they print the name of whoever brings up the gifts in the weekly program, so everyone will have a name to match to our face in one shot. So, yeah, we've been volunteered. And the choir director tried to snag us...I refused...and pointed out that DH, while I love him muchly, has an utter tin ear and no rhythm. They do NOT want him. And then the Sunday school director asked if either of us taught...
