i don't like food being thrown away, especially not meat. so much energy and so many resources go into the production of foods. whenever something is purchased that gets recorded as the demand. the more the purchases, the more the demand, the more will be made and therefor more energy/resources will be put into meeting the demands. it bothers me to see a demand being made for waste, for all that effort and environmental impact to go into a landfill somewhere making more of a negative environmental impact (especially considering most things are served with disposable dining wear).
i'd much rather eat meat than see it thrown away.
i think this is why i have a hard time throwing things away. i always envision those heaping mounds of trash floating in the ocean.
this is why i've tried to stop using straws
do most people forget about this? i do sometimes. being wasteful is definitely the easy thing to do...
here's some humor for the idea:

"and that's been linked to a wide range of health impacts, including, gender bending" Alright, i suppose "impact" doesn't necessarily have negative connotations... but... PLEASE. i am super pro gender-bending/ gender fucking (so, i guess i should be all for BPA, right?) but oh no, dare people question this system as it is.
