Changes... most people are afraid of changes. Be it their friends, their surrounding or something else... coz everyone finds comfort and security in the familiar around them. Positive changes are good... that means you grow and are adaptable to things around you, circumstances that comes your way and stuff in between. If the current you are the same as the you 10 years ago... or even 5 years ago, it'll be like you've not learn anything but stuck in the same cycle all those years... which i think i rather sad, considering there's so much we can do in terms of improving ourselves and change for the better and in the way we think.
And as for the "friends forever"... if you can find even one friend who fits into that category, then I'd say you're blessed. Most people are just friends with you superficially. It's hard to find one who'll really stick with you through your highs and lows.. and through all the years. Unless both sides made an effort... even good friends will drift apart sometimes down the road. I'm guilty of that too... but then I'm tired of being always the one that try to keep in contact and ask how everyone is. *which i gave up on doing couple years ago* >_>
True.. that's why once in a while i will tell myself to grow up a little.. of course it's easier to whine about things... but that ain't getting us anywhere.. that's why i always remind some of the people that i know never be too judgemental about others... changes are good even tho occasionally there's some bad... but then we must always give people the benefit of the doubt...what's their reason of change... can we instead of questioning them but just maybe see things from their point of view... heh... well i'm glad i have friends are honest with me.. accept all the good and bad of me... who has been there to see each other grow up.. to be starkly different from each other but still able to be comfortable with each other... :)
