After the conversation with Bones and the subsequent yelling at and kicking out, Jo debated long and hard before she finally decided on who to send the message to. She was damned worried about him, even under the load of hurt from him yelling at her. Spock was obviously out, so was Jim. Left only one other person who might be able to take care of Dad. She was really upset herself, but she'd go deal with it her way. A night with a lot of liquor would steady her out. But Dad...needed something more she thought.
