Well, first of all, Matt left for Iraq yesterday. Honestly, I'm not sad. I'm not afraid. I'm am perfectly fine. I definitely hate that he and Jenny & Elena have to be separated, but I'm more sad about that than the fact that he's going off to war. I know God will take care of him to whatever end, but I just hate that he has to go through that separation.
I finished getting my room together today, plus I explored my building. I'll post some pictures tomorrow hopefully if I can get around to it. I LOVE THE DINING HALL. Let me just say that. I love making little excursions across the road and ordering food and sitting in the TV room eating while watching Sportscenter (I don't have a TV in my place yet, one of my roommates is bringing one tomorrow).
Working today was a lot of fun. I hung out with Jona and Alex and some other people most of the time. Alex made a transformer costume out of cardboard and was walking around waving to all the new freshmen. It was hilarious. Plus, he does this great impression of Smeagol/Gollum.
In fact, I'm on my way to The Penthouse (Emily & Jona's room) now to go hang out with all of them. Toodles!
