The hope in your eyes is enough to change me
Well, I'm back at school! Mom, Dad, Tim, & I had a nice family breakfast, then Mom & Tim helped me move in. It really wasn't that bad. It was hot, but we got it done quickly, so it was okay. I ran into my friend Laura, and it turns out that she & our friend Lauren our living a few floors above me. I also ran into my friends Alex & Jona. Then Mom, Tim, & I went downtown and ate lunch.
After they left, I started the long task of unpacking. I sort of have things how I want them, but I think I'll be making some changes. It's not that I don't have enough space for my stop; it's just that there aren't a lot of places to set things or store things.
Then Tamara, Tre, Alex, & I went to our moving-in volunteer meeting. We got lots of free stuff, and most importantly... pizza! I work 10am-8pm tomorrow, then 6pm-11pm. I think a lot of my friends are moving in tomorrow, so not working until 6 gives me plenty of time to hang out with them :D
Then we came back, & I finished unpacking. I must admit, I actually miss home this time. Not as in my parents and my house, but my hometown. I think God really used me a lot to make a difference in the community, so now I don't despise it like I did.
I'm exhausted. I'm going to bed!
