i've been pretty busy :P
um... christmas was good. i spent it with family and my father found out that i have a boyfriend cos he asked me flat out. my gifts were nice and nerdy (a dvd player/burner, more USB ports, house dvds, pj's, sudoku game, sweater, chapters gift certificate, that sort of thing :) )
new years was kind of blah, but i spent it with the boy, so it was nice.
the rest of the break was mostly spent commuting back and forth between guelph and my parents' house.
oooh, and i brought myself two winter coats the day before it started snowing. one is a large columbia coat (red and gray) for skiing/regular wear. the other is a baby blue, mid-thigh length 'dress' coat style... i like it because i can wear it when i dress up, but it still isn't boring and normal.
um, class is already crazy, but at least i got into the class that i need TO GRADUATE.

-FRHD 1020 - a family relationships and dynamics course (i think that's what it's called?). super easy. i'm looking forward to it, even if the lectures do get a bit boring at times :P and it's an 8.30 lecture. ouch.
-PSYC 4370 - history of psychology - known for being a lot of work, but a course that everyone loves. to give a general idea: we have roughly 100 pages of reading per week, and we actually do need to read them. for a slow reader, this could be a big nightmare, but i'm hoping to do ok.
-ZOO 4050 - natural resources policy course - the prof is really funny. he's like, 50/60 oldschool and british. he's got a very funny way of saying really blunt, rude things. and is obviously very smart. our textbook? ...the globe and mail. i'm trying to keep on top of reading my daily subscription :P
-PSYC 3330 - psychology of memory. thursday nights 7-10. but the prof doesn't want to be there that late, either, so this time we ended at like, 9.10. woo. i have a bit of a crush on the prof already. he's young and witty and pretty. and works in canadian defense research, which is pretty neat.
otherwise, i've been working a lot and doing a lot of safewalk. my life is way too structured to have time for homework :S
oh! and yesterday wu, j and i kidnapped tom to get him a fedora for his birthday :) it was a very fun excursion, involving blindfolding tom, photos and a very fun saleslady who not only cut the price a bit for us, but also let us hang out in her store and try on as many hats and make as many funny photos as we wanted!
after a crazy-busy shift at work, i had tea with krissy and got to catch up (and gossip :P) <3 ...and i got my christmas present from leslie - a cat shaped bottle of rose wine :O so weird.
on that note, i should really start getting to schoolwork... it's going to be a crazy semester and i want to do really well!
