The little pictures in my head
I know other people's dreams are deadly dull, but I am dreaming really vividly at the moment, so I beg your indulgence...
I had this dream last night that I opened up the newspaper and there were all these articles about Old Crow inside - old ones, from local papers. In the dream I was thinking, "Well I knew there must be more press on them - it's about time someone got it all together!"
I went on their fansite today for the first time in ages, and somebody has posted a link to a website with - yep, you guessed it - a load of old press cuttings from various local papers, all about Old Crow! I didn't remember the dream until I saw the cuttlings, and suddenly I was like "Holy shit! How wierd is that?" Anyway, I didn't shag anybody in the dream, you'll be relieved to hear. But I did read a quote from Ketch Secor earlier this year saying, "Well ,I'm 25..."
25. I had deluded myself that he was at least 28. Yes, I feel very pervy and decrepit.
There's also a quote where he says that Americans pretty much invented folk music.
