Put a spring in your step!

Spring break has been absolutely great. So relaxing and so fun. Here’s how it’s been going so far…

Friday, Sean, Sa, Max, and I went off to Publix to buy supplies for the get-together on Saturday. After, we met up with Laura, Ashley, Thao, and William to go see Sin City. Damien and others had issues… I’d rather not discuss it. But it was a very very good movie. I’m not even going to begin describing it because my feeble (crap) words will do it much injustice. Just go see it if ya haven’t, aight?

Saturday, Theresa came by and we picked up the cookie cake for the event, and afterwards, we paid Max a quick visit at B&N just as he was getting off work. We then went back to my house to pick up a freezer and a mattress for the futon from next door. After that was done with, Sa and I took care of the cookery while Max and Thao dozed off on the couches in the basement.

Hells yeah.

Hungry?

Everyone that was invited arrived and I’m glad that everyone (almost) ended up having a fairly good time. Damien is very right (for once!!), we should totally do this again. Maybe the weather won’t be so stupid and I’ll actually be able to open the pool up.
I mean really, some seriously hot guys showed up and I wanted be able to see their goodies.

Oh, I merely jest………

They’re break-dance fighting!

“Oh HELL no!”

By the end of the whole thing, it was just me, Thao, Sean, and Max, watching Donnie Darko (yet again), and falling asleep. The two amigos finally left at 4-something in the mo’nin. What a party.

America loves the flash.

It got pretty hot down there with all the people every frickin’ where.

Max asked me, although I had a good time and everything that night, if I had regretted anything about not attending my prom... I didn’t even have to think about it.

“Man, FUCK PROM!”

Really, everyone that came to my house that night, those were the only group of people worth hanging out with and seeing at prom. What difference does it make whether I’m gussied up at some fancy venue or in a t-shirt and jeans in someone’s basement; as long as I’m with the people I have the most fun with? Prom don’t mean shit if the right people aren’t going to be there to make all that money you spent on tickets, dress, nails, hair, limo, etc. worth it.
I’m so glad I have a good group of friends.

What’s a party without an orgy?

Sa, America, and Thao says: “You don’t have to get drunk to get up and start singing Disney songs like a bunch of silly-heads in front of everyone!”

Sunday, I spent the day reading finishing The Stranger, starting Breakfast at Tiffany’s and The Dark Knight Returns. I love reading. I’m planning on spending a good portion of my summer reading by the lake, just like I did that Sunday morning/afternoon. Good stuff, being a nerd.

Later, Sean and Max came by to eat some leftover macaroni n cheese and to watch my oscars eat the goldfish. It’s quite fun to watch, if you’re into that kind of silly fish-on-fish violence.
After, I played tennis with Sean and Thao well into the evening. I had a good time.

The next day, I did the same thing all over again, only this time, America joined us. She is very much interested in learning the Art of Tennis. After a strenuous day of playing, America, Thao, and me had a Girl’s Night In thing going. We ate chips and watched Drowning Mona. I think that movie is so funny. When it was over, we started talking about camping trips, psycho killers, and ghosts. For a person who claims to be a scaredy cat, America sure seems to have absolutely no problem with talking about such ghoulies and creepin’ me and Thao out. OY.

Today was a gooood day. I spent it with Sean, Max, and Thao. We ate pizza, icecream, ran errands, went shoppin’, and got Thao some bangs. Good good times. Later, we Thao and I picked up America and we got some Night Tennis goin’ on with Sean. As long as it doesn’t rain, I think I’m going to try and play tennis everyday this break. I need to keep my winning streak up, ya know what I’m sayin’?

Thao and I capped off the night with America chillin’ with us yet again in the basement. We watched her little Fifteenth Birthday home video from Mexico. It was pretty much a Mexican version of a Jewish Bat Mitzvah. Interesting stuff, I found watching it was very entertaining and I was in the mood for dancing and taking a road trip to Mexico. I wish America didn’t have to do that GHP thing this summer (congrats, by the way!) so she could be out tour guide when we go. Oh well, maybe we can just settle with hitting up that huge-ass mall in Texas instead.

I hope no one is home and bored at all this week. It’s been such a great break with beautiful weather… How could anyone just stay inside and waste it all away?

Hehe, Bears just IM’d me and said that I’m awesome. I’ll end it here.
