So I realized something about Ralph this play session.
"Creator person! I haven't slept, in a whole 15 minutes!"
The guy needs a lot of sleep and the park bench wasn't cutting it.
He falls asleep on the ground when he gets home from work.
After a bit of a nap I can barely keep him awake long enough to weed his tiny garden and maybe greet someone passing for a chat by before he falls asleep again. One thing I am very glad of in this challenge is that the gardening badges were not affected by my harder skilling mod. I have no idea why, when fishing badges got hit with a double whammy, but I'll take it.
I really needed someone to move in and seeing Christy was still as keen as ever I decided she will do and sent them on their one allowed date for the week.
Very keen, even if they only have 2 bolts. It took a couple more visits to get them up to 100/100 relationship after this.
Lovely engagement in the dark-as many of these shots are as they are at work all day.
Now here comes my stuff up.
I should have checked her career rewards section after moving her in. She came with the job level of president which is level 8. Google tells me she should have an exoputter from level 5.
But I needed to set her to my aging mod, so I aged her up first and then back down before checking.
"Oh no, I married an old woman!"
"I'lll slap you with my walker Ralph!"
She might too as she is more suited to this life then he is. She is tougher and needs less sleep then he does.
Christy Inada, 2/3/9/7/4. Came with 1 cooking, 5 charima!, 6 logic, 4 creativity and 2 cleaning. Shame she had no body points as 3 is needed for that first promotion.
She also came as I said with the job of president but when I checked her career reward tab after aging her back down there was nothing. So I've bought and placed an exoputter for $0 in her inventory for them to use. If anyone thinks this is too much like cheating I'll delete it.
I swapped the bench for a tent and Christy brought them a toilet for her one item.
Lightning has a thing for the esky which is as Esme told me what American's call a 'cooler'
While the people of Strangetown have a thing for their newspapers. I wouldn't mind, but that's their compost!
Luckily that happened not to long before work ended so no roaches. Thanks for more compost ya'all. :P
Down at Wallmart Christy gained a body skill! She was quite close to it when she moved in.
But even better was when the evil witch turned up and Christy made friends.
Quite good for a supposedly shy sim and what should be a fairly intimidating character.
Ralph did what Ralph does best.
Not a whole lot happened the next week apart from lots of 5am to 5pm work days and gardening and building one wall per day to make the 3 by 3 shack.
Ralph did get his silver gardening badge and is doing a lot better sleep wise with both the tent and having someone else to help with the garden. No one got over hot through the summer either. After thinking about it, I've decided to leave the seasons as I have them, Winter/Spring/Summer/Autumn.
"A man in the woman’s bathroom! I'll use your head as a bowling ball and your eyes as pickles!"
"But, but, it's unisex! Help!"
Circe is scary even on her 'nice' days.
But even better than Ralph being awake was this. Yes! This is only the second time she has tried befriending her too.
I'm not sure what advantage or help it might be, but I'm sure I'll find some use for her being a witch.
"This is bad, very, very bad!"
Her becoming a witch or your look? Why is Jessica Elbad (burglar) looking like this?
News flash! Ralph gained his first skill point at the end of Autumn!
We have now completed a year as it turned winter again.
Gains towards the goal:
Ralph got married.
Silver gardening badges for them both.
1 body skill for them both.
Christy became a witch.
Ralph passing out? At least 15+ until they got the tent.
