Work is going well. I've taken over some new duties that will hopefully earn me a big bonus and a nice raise at the end of the year and I'm feeling pretty confident about it all and more capable.
Camping was fun, we took lots of pictures -more than half I'm sure are taken by Jason of the deer we saw- and our dinners were great. Breakfast on Saturday was not so great. We (and by "we" I mean "Jason" while I was working) spent a lot of time looking for Jason's mom's Coleman stove to borrow to make things like... breakfast while we were camping but when we got there Jason insisted that we had to make all our meals over the fire. So on the menu for Saturday morning was pancakes and Jason poured the batter into an ungreased frying pan and then put it straight on the grate over the nice uneven-temperatured fire. Pretty much instantly frying the pancake straight to the bottom of the pan. We got 1 and a half good pancakes and two things slightly resembling biscuits. We started somewhere around 10 and didn't get to eat until somewhere around noon. Then we hiked to the beach and it was good. I think I'll do a better post about the trip later. With pictures.
I also updated my journal look with the help of a random LJ user
burr86 to one of the new ones apparently taken straight from Vox -the other entity of LJ- and it looks rather cheery and makes me happy.
Now I need to stop slacking and get back to work so that my UPS shipment isn't late again for my poor driver who is awesome.
Ciao!
