Interesting nothings.

I'm reading the curious incident of the dog in the night-time, which my sister loaned to me. It's pretty good. The writing style is a bunch of run-on tangents which makes it different and entertaining.

This is my favorite paragraph so far (I give you the whole paragraph so you can have some context. The italicized line is my favorite):

"But Siobhan said we have to use those words because people used to call children like the children at the school spaz and crip and mong, which were nasty words. But that is stupid too because sometimes the children from the school down the road see us in the street when we're getting off the bus and they shout, "Special Needs! Special Needs!" But I don't take any notice because I don't listen to what other people say and only sticks and stones can break my bones and I have my Swiss Army knife if they hit me and if I kill them it will be self-defense and I won't go to prison."

The book is about an Autistic teenager who discovers his neighbor's poodle dead on the front lawn with a gardening fork sticking out of it, and decides to do some detective work and find out who did it, meanwhile writing it all down as a detective story. The chapters are organized by prime number.

In other news, I found out that one eye is more dilated than the other. Odd.
