Wow ... that was ... entirely unexpected.

I have to echo katelinmr, you are leaving me quite speechless. First person narrator Draco is so hard to pull off, but you did, exquisitely. I can't get over your gorgeous description of Harry's chest hair: ... iron dust accumulated by magnetic currents under his skin. Wow. There is such a sense of ritual about this love making, the way Harry dresses for Draco, the way wine becomes a memory of blood as well as expression of desire, hurt and need so close it's impossible to distinquish. This line, Like this wine we'd grown less bitter yet richer in colour as the years had gone by. captures so wonderfully your (and my) vision of mature H/D. Wow, Joan, just wow!

I'm soooo happy that you like it! *twirls-you*
At first I had no idea where to go with your prompt, even though I loved the pictures "vintage wine" evoked, and then one day this scene popped into my head.

Thanks for that brilliant prompt! *snuggles-you-very-close*

Here through vaysh11.

Wow. Some of the poetic turns in this are magnificent. I particularly enjoyed, We had found our own ways to transform the acid, maybe even to use it to our advantage. Nicely done!

wow, this is gorgeous. beautiful language and subtle but powerful imagery.

love this especially:

a litany of 'forgive me's poured from his lips and we were left two shaking bodies in a pool of dark red wine
