"I'd like that," Kate replied, with a smile that turned into a smirk. "Can't promise I won't burn them in a fit of envy, but I'd still like getting some."
Joan laughed. "I'll forgive you if you do. And you'll have to send me emails letting me know what I'm missing here. I'm pretty sure I'll be able to check from at least a few of the stops."
"You have a moral obligation to throw an awesome party next week to welcome the newbies," Joan said. "But then we definitely need to have one when I'm back."
