Well, I survived my 50th, both the birthday itself and the party. I'm doing a lot of reading, as youngest daughter bought me a Nook for my birthday.
Despite what seemed the entire universe conspiring against it, we actually had our vacation. As of December 4, 2010 I have a second grandson. I've been having internet connectivity problems aka the wireless and the house don't get along so well.
Mostly I'm doing a lot of trying to relax evening and weekends as the work stress is starting to ramp up. January is when they can start layoffs and the contract is up as on the end of this fiscal year (June 3oth). And our ever-so-charming governor doesn't think we're entitled to a bargained contract. Work life is going to to get very interesting. : (
