So I renamed my blog - wadyano.
Before it was titled "Supertheory of Supereverything" after a Gogol Bordello song that I like. Now it is titled "La Madre de los Tomates."
"And what in God's holy water-rusted name does that mean?" is what you're all surely thinking.
"La madre de los tomates" is a Cuban colloquialism that literally translates as "the mother of (the) tomatoes." It roughly means the same thing as various American sayings, including:
- the whole shebang
- the whole package
- the whole nine yards
- the kit and caboodle
- the whole enchilada
- including the kitchen sink
Et cetera.
Basically, it means everything.
english,
spanish,
stuff,
life,
language,
