As indicated in the comment to
wisconsinwriter, this is really simple. It got me a lot of compliments whenever I brought it to work potlucks, however.
1 stick of butter (or margarine)
1 cup flour
1 big can of chicken broth
1 1/2 cups cream
cook until smooth. Then, add:
16 oz. cheez whiz
1 Tbsp Worstershire sauce (opt)
appx 3 oz dried chives
12 oz beer.
Stir until smooth, heating constantly.
Serve with popcorn on top, if desired. Serves appx 14.
