This entry is kinda late but was so caught up with work I hardly have time to do anything else. In fact, I'm posting this while eating strawberries in my Bangkok hotel.
Time flies and unknowingly, I have been in this hobby for almost 2 years! 2010 was a year of trial and error, when I was discovering different companies and amassed 10 dolls. 2011 was a fruitful year. I made great friends via this hobby and was also a year where I am more sure of what I want and like. Bought 5 new dolls but sold off 5 as well, maintaining the crew at still 10. :).
Didn't set a yearly doll budget in 2010. Not that it will help in any way as it can be seen in year 2011. I did set a yearly doll budget for 2011 but things didn't go as planned and I busted that budget by more than double. I'm adamant that it's not going happen in 2012.
I planned for 2012 to be a year where 'quality rules over quantity':
1) to keep the crew at not more than 13 (meaning no more than 3 new dolls this year, I need to be realistic. XD)
2) spend more time on making props
3) get my ass down to shooting my photostories
4) improve my photography skills
5) to keep to my doll budget this year (I'm pretty confident this time round)
6) to develop each of their characters. Sadly, I can only relate to a few in my crew.
7) find time to do up my spare room and turn it into their living space, complete with bar tops etc. (this is a bonus)
Yeah! Posting this so that I will constantly be reminded!
Oh!! And I won ami ayase! In fact, I won 2..... One is a gift from Mr Tan, the other is won via fransyung (big hugs). So if I keep both, that will bring my current crew to 12... Yay!! Finally a gal in my crew!! :)
To my all f list, happy new year! (tho its a bit late)
