Movie: LadyHawke. It was seriously my childhood.
Book: Bitten by Kelley Armstrong.
Music: The New Pornographers. They are LOVE.

Questions...
1. Toward what actual career are you ultimately aiming?
2. Would you say you've always had physical insecurities, or can you pinpoint a time when you started feeling that way?
3. Do you think Oshita-sensei's family got its surname because an ancestor had an enormous penis?

1. Psychologist at this point. I know that I want my master's in Art Therapy. As for the PhD, that's still to be decided.
2. I would say as far back as I remember, though it got really super bad and obvious btwn 4th and 5th grade. (I had flashbacks tonight and they were not cool. ::shudder::)
3. I hope so, haha :P

If Oshita says that's where his family name comes from, then it's probably not true. Besides, he's Japanese ... they're not the best-endowed boys on this planet, you know?

Sadly, I do know ...

1. Hmm ... You've probably already seen Amelie, so I suppose the next that I'd recommend to you would be ... The Cell or Natural Born Killers. Both are pretty pop-culture, but the art is wonderful and there's just enough in each to make you think, if you put effort into it.

2. Crime and Punishment by Dostoevsky, read the Penguin translation. Best book I've ever read, so much so that I'm still working through it, mentally, even though it's been ... oh, 9 years since I've read it. Second on that list would be Sons and Lovers by D. H. Lawrence. It's sad and powerful and beautifully written. One of the most powerfully upsetting books I've ever taken down ( ... )

Wow. Good answers good answers. Definitely fun to read.

When I was younger (probably closer to 15 or 16), I wanted to "fall in love" too ... I think it's something everyone has daydreams of. When it finally happened, it sneaked up on me and bit me in the ass, but as you said, it was just "less perfect," no better or worse.

And Jasper-cat loves baths, the little freak that she is. Doesn't much like to snuggle, though, save when it's cold and i'm sleeping.

I loved reading this, hon. You're fascinating. *_*

*hugs*
