Read it in an evening. No surprise there. :D Loved it. I particularly liked the notion of Steelflower there but out of reach for the Wraith, though I feel certain Alabaster is more than capable of the task ahead. She has a very unique perspective in respect of humans and now she has a Lantean 'handmaiden' to assist with advice, well... Interesting times.

As usual, it made me want more and to know what's happening with Guide, Alabaster et al, as well as these new characters.

Alabaster will do a good job, I think. I really would love to see what she's made of these alliances in decades to come, but of course that's outside the realm of these stories.
