Moebius Squared and Legacy
A reader asks, "I have a question. I've finished all the Legacy books and I'm not usually an SG-1 fan but I'm wondering if I should read Moebius Squared if it has anything to do with the Legacy series."
Moebius Squared isn't part of the Legacy series but it's definitely part of the same continuity. Melissa and I wrote it almost as a prequel. It takes place during the year of season 5 of Stargate Atlantis, except for the last scene takes place during the first part of Homecoming, only it's following the SG-1 team instead of the Atlantis team. If you're interested in what happened to the Ancients who left Atlantis for Earth, you might enjoy it. Likewise, if you like the way I write Sam, you might like her in Moebius Squared.
However, if you're looking for something more Atlantis-like to read, try Melissa Scott's Ouroboros. It's an SG-1 book, but the team gets stuck in an AU version of first season Atlantis, which is loads of fun! It also includes AU Todd and his original hive, since he was never captured by the Genii in the AU, so if you liked the Wraith in Legacy Melissa delivers lots more of them!
