Although I am mostly a SGA fan, due to Todd/Guide and McKay mostly, I really liked the book. The Tok'ra backstory was a nice bonus, although I would have liked even more Tok'ra action in the book, but I understand that the main characters are the ones that have to receive most focus. I found that the whole of the story integrates quite well in the Stargate history as I have come to understand it. Most of all, I liked the way the characters are written. I could almost see them, as I read on, as if it were a film. Now I can hardly wait for the last book of Legacy to come out, much as I regret that it is the last of the series. I can only hope that perhaps more may come in the future, something along the lines of "the Blade of Altlantis" you spoke of once. In the meantime, I also look forward to Ouroboros (more Todd), the next volumes in the Order of the Air series (at least it's a long series I hope to enjoy in the following years) and I also hope Lifeboat will soon appear. About Lifeboat, I really liked the fragment that I read. There's something about it that puts me in mind of John Brunner's Polymath writings, at least as far as the initial setting is concerned. I would really like to see your take on such a situation. Perhaps a little fragment could make its way into one of your next posts? Ok, so I've deviated quite a bit from the subject, feel free to give a TL;DR answer.

I'm very glad you enjoyed it! Moebius Squared was a lot of fun to do. It was written between Secrets and The Inheritors, so it does kind of come off as backstory for the Legacy series. Daniel's right that the answers were never on Earth -- they're out there, where Sam is going, in the Pegasus Galaxy. And in a year she'll have more of them. What happened to the Ancients? Well, we know more than they do now, don't we? But Sam is right when she tells Ai that it's not all lost and gone. Her many times great-granddaughter will return to Atlantis, one of the inheritors.
I'm so glad you like the Order of the Air too! Steel Blues will be out April 1, and I think it's even better than Lost Things. Right now I'm working on the third book.
It makes me very happy that you remember and like that little piece of Lifeboat. We're working on rewrites now and they're kicking our butts. It's really good to hear that we should hang in there and work on it. Thank you. Truly.
