"I am the resurrection and the life, he that believeth in Me, though he were dead yet shall he live: and whosoever liveth and believeth in Me shall never die"
The city of livermore is in mourning. The loss of such a young life has really devastated the community. Monica was just barely 16, with all the hopes and dreams of the world awaiting her. She was looking forward to spending her third year as the class 2007 president for Granada High. I spent two years working with this amazing girl in ASB and Class Office and it broke my heart when I had to find out about this terrible event by the newspaper the next morning. Monica was talented and equally as brilliant, she was a 4.0 student both her years at Granada.
The members of livermore assembly were heartbroken upon hearing the news...not only was she related to one of our adults, employed by my aunt, as well as being best friends with one of our PWAs...we were going to call her sister next month as she had been elected to receive our degrees...
Monica, you were loved and you will be deeply missed.
