You kill me
You kill me - dark comedy about a professional killer who's got an alcohol problem which starts messing with his job, so his boss sends him to San Francisco to kick it off at AA meetings, finding him a job there in the morgue as a make-up artist for the bodies. It's a strange movie, there are lots of disturbing things said in it, if you think about it, but you end up laughing at them. It's a movie about loneliness and finding someone to forget about it with. Ben Kingsley plays Frank - the killer and he's just made for that role with his facial expressions and voice, thus he left me feeling that he didn't have to act very much for this movie. Tea Leoni - she was awesome, however, brilliant performance by her with lots of subtlety - she plays this disappointed with life woman, who's been lied to too many times by various men and doesn't believe in happy endings anymore. I enjoyed this movie and it's black humor. The only thing I had issues with was Polish references in it. For the love of..., if you want to make a movie about Polish community in US, please at least try to learn your cast to pronounce certain Polish words in a proper way, use Polish expressions that are actually in use, take care that the subtitles are correct and don't overdo it with cliches!

Went to a housewarming party later on at Zandstraat where I've seen the most awesome bathroom in A'dam so far. In the bedroom wall there is this window made (without glass) through which you see the bathroom - it's a bit higher than the bedroom. Huge room with a fantastic, old-fashioned bathtub in the middle of the room. There are mirrors on three walls thereof. The shower stall is hidden and it's three times the size of mine, also with a mirror on one side. All done in very alluring colors - deep green, gold. It has so many possibilities...
Oh yeah, and I'm totally not afraid to approach my fridge since I've seen a mouse disappearing behind it. And totally not feeling tired even though I went to bed at 4am and said mouse woke me up after 6am. There should be some rules set here! ;)
