it's true what they say: you slowly become the people you spend time with. there is a defying substance that floats around when two or more are gathered for an extended amount of time that causes traits and habits to be communicated like the common cold. pieces of our personalities travel upon our breath and conquer the surrounding air that everyone around receives into their lungs. we, in turn, develop new parts to our biographies that resemble those of our comrades. people cannot be people without other people. we find ourselves by searching others. our personal makeup consists of traits of those we meet throughout our lives, and the way we respond to it all.
also, hang onto your good friends. never let little things get in the way of what's important. there is almost always a middle ground between your way and someone else's way, and it takes two to find it. try your best and don't be stupid.
