Thank god my men made me pace myself Friday night, hahahaha. I was still basically non-functional Saturday though. Such a lazy, nonproductive day. Good times as always. Especially walking to my car at 4am, *especially* during the good ol' balmy New Hampshire winters. I love numb body parts!
Went to see Little Shop of Horrors yesterday and then was taken out to thai food. Mmmmmm I love it so.
Biochem was canceled today, which was a nice surprise. In cell hell we were randomly lectured on ATP and free energy and proton gradients and oxidative phosphorylation and all this stuff that...we've all learned many, many years ago? Ah well it was a good 50 minutes to space out, and I'm pretty sure Chris was napping.
Tomorrow I donate blood; Wednesday (unless the storm does in fact drop 18" on us) I go to Boston for my brother's gig and to drink away Valentine's day with the men so I can forget how much I hate it; Thursday I have a biochemistry exam; Friday Jen and Nick come to visit to go out dancing and drinking; Saturday my parents come to visit. YAY.
I made beef stroganoff for dinner tonight. HOW DELICIOUS WAS IT. Answer: very.
I legit have 87896jkgjkv8lkh78ikm calluses on my feet. I know they are an inherently ugly body part, but dear god. Obviously, I was never meant to be a foot model. At least I have a healthy cardiovascular system hah.
So for spring break I am not going to Miami, sadly. I am going to South Carolina to visit my brother. Which is okay I suppose, but we're driving there. Why, I don't know. The furthest I've ever gone in a car has been 4 hours; any farther away than that and I've flown. So I'm kinda not really looking forward to a 15+ hour drive. I will be bored as soon as we hit Pennsylvania. BUT. The week after that Cat is flying HERE and I will be picking her lovely self up at the airport and instead of her having to sleep on the floor of my dorm room again (I didn't mean to kick you btw) she'll have a real guest room and a real bed and a clean bathroom and I will cook for her. And we shall go on adventures. Yessssss.
For my cousin's birthday, her parents got four tickets to the Justin Timberlake concert. So that's one for her, two for her to invite friends with, and one for me. Me, the chaperone (their words, not mine). WHEN did I become old enough to be a chaperone?! My aunt's like "make sure to mention to your friend's parents that your almost 22 year-old responsible boring cousin is going to watch you guys". I know I'm on the path to crazy cat ladydome, but the rest of the world doesn't need to know that!
Do I want to fold my laundry? Ehhhh
