Comedy Show in Boca
i haven't updated in forever... and for the first time, i don't even think i can try to attempt to recap everything that has happened...
last nite, as part of the homecoming week festivities, they had a comedy show in boca... i wasn't really looking forward to it, i really don't like when comedians just make fun of people and think its kind of lame, but anna and cara were going and i didn't want to stay in at home by myself, so i went... before, cara and i went out to toojays and bought a truckload of desserts, and bought natalie some flowers (for guy to give to her). we got back, and got ready to go and got dinner and then left. we got there early, and right as we walk in, brett who is program board director for the boca campus recognizes anna because her boyfriend dj works on program board there, and says to us "are you on Jared's list?" and we're like, yes, and he's like, "ok, here are your tickets", no line, no wait. that was purely coincidental, but AMAZING! so we go in and sit on these red couches and we see julie and say hi, and walk and around and everywhere we go we are like, thank God we don't go here, everything and everyone was just crazy... then we go inside and score some amazing seats that no one thought to sit in, and saved a bunch for our friends coming later, and we had a nice HC section going on. the show was pretty funny, i enjoyed myself. after, everyone had to exit the building directly, and we were like oh shit, we have to pee and it will take us 40 minutes to get back to school. so then dj finds us, and anna's like dj, we have to pee, and so we walk back up to the entrance and the security guard lady is like no right when we walk up, and then dj flashes his program board badge and the lady is like ok, come on in, and then these girls walk up behind us as we're walking in and ask the security guard lady that just let us in if they can use the bathroom and she's just like "no." so that was pretty sweet. it's amazing to have an awesome friend that has a boyfriend with all the hookups:)... and to add to the wonderful night of being glad to be from jupiter instead of boca, as we're walking out to leave, we see these two little boys, and the following conversation ensued...
little boy no. 1: where are you going to go to college?
little boy no. 2: FAU, duh!
little boy no. 1: this campus?
little boy no. 2: no! the good one, in jupiter!
ah... so all in all, great night out in boca, but so, so glad to be able to go back to our nice friendly campus in jupiter, to our nice friendly faculty and staff, our nice private dorm rooms, to our amazing desserts from toojays and best of all, our amazing friends!
we saw claire, natalie, sarah and claire's friend from home daniel that we all met, that was fun. watched anchorman with ian, walker and shell's little brother, and (surprise surprise) fell asleep...
i came to my cousin's house today, and we chilled all day... i bought a flower from walmart, and after i read by the pool.. ate dinner, and watched LOST again.. saw the beginning of bridget jones... here i am now... i don't know when i'll be able to update again, but hopefully at least weekly...
i got hired by the admissions office, so thats my oh so fun and exciting new job...
my cousins painted my room in their house an amazing shade of green...
enviro club is going to mounts botanical gardens this saturday coming up. and especially after our amazing experience with loggerhead turtle sanctuary, and christian (!), i'm super excited to go and take pictures...
