monday was my first time working morning/daytime at LNT... it flew by really fast... i brought in the leftovers of my fourth of july cupcakes... nikoya and i had to figure out how to put together this crazy complicated little storage box... after we messed one up, we figured it out... she's a nice girl... then i spent some time hanging out with vlad in the center stock room... after work, my mom picked me up, and i came home and chilled for a few hours... then i went to jobin and jessy's with my brothers, because we made plans to go see the fireworks together in center city, on the parkway in front of the art museum. we picked up pearl and then took the train from milbourne.. it was really exciting and fun, i had a super fun time... i saw rufus wainwright, patti labelle, and elton john... it was pretty kool. and the fireworks were amazing. after we had to walk a zillion blocks, or like 7, to 30th street station, but it was just so kool, and so much fun...
yesterday i didn't do much all day, and went to work last nite... carolyn drove me home... she's going to make me a copy of the new keith urban cd because i told her i was really starting to get into him.. i'm excited.
today i woke up early, at 11, and did laundry. i called the HC about my scholarship and ended up having a nice chat with tara nelan. i'm so excited for orientation, and being an ambassador. it will be fun times... watched some boy meets world (such a good show), and then got ready for work. seriously, the hardest part about my job at express is deciding what to wear to work. i usually try to stay safe with solid colors... a lot of black and white... i had a really good nite tonite, i was the only one on the floor and the sale was still going on, so i got almost every single sale that we rung up... i bought this super cute green skirt that i've loved forever in our store, and it was 30 dollars, but it was marked down from 88, so that's a good deal, right? i was happy. plus we got out early. i came home, changed and watched sex and the city while i ate dinner, grilled cheese and caesar salad, both things that i've been craving all day today. it was good day. plus, diego imed me tonite, and we chatted about all the classes we have together next year, and orientation. i'm so excited!
