(no subject)
so the past few week has just been work, school, study, tv, food and sleep for me...
jobs have been alright... both entail a lot more work than sears... i actually have to do things, rather than just wait around for customers... but its kool... it sux to work in express and see all these cute clothes and not be able to buy anything... but then again, its kool to know when stuff will go on sale, and i will be making some purchases later this week.. linens n things is kool. the manager that hired me? steve? who was really nice? quit. on sunday... and monday was his last day... so that was kind of shocking... my coworker alexis was crying hysterically.. i was kind of sad, and i had only known him two weeks. i heard that he's going to sell omaha steaks or something like that... i think its a little messed up that an omaha steaks salesperson makes more than a general store manager of a linens n things... or maybe i just have things mixed up... hopefully... my other manager at linens n things, her name is stacie. she's a very like bubbly and vivacious person... she's nice. she's getting married on friday, and she was showing everyone her ring. it was way nice... i can't wait till i get married so i do fun stuff like go ring shopping, and wedding planning and wedding showers, and bachelorette parties and dress shopping and a honeymoon... oh, and the wedding.
i finally have two days off where i don't have to study for anything either... i NEED to call natalie... it sux that i haven't been able to see her since she's been here... its rediculoso... hopefully sometime this weekend... does anyone have any idea of something fun i could do with her? or want to come and meet her? she's way kool and nice... i think she said something about going to new york city...
i wish i read more... does anyone know if there will be anymore gossip girl books coming out? i know its way lame, but i'm addicted... if anyone has any suggestions of actual like good books for me to read, i'd love to have those...
for business class, we have to split up in groups and do a presentation on a career/job. i'm partners with charlie and andrew, both nice boys. we're doing "a missionary". which should be interesting...
i watched the video that cara and claire made of our first year at the HC last friday. it made me miss the gang.
