Well, it has been one week since I began phase 2. I've not made as much progress as I had hoped/expected, but I had not expected to find so many boxes of old school papers and newspaper clippings and such. There were approximately 15 boxes filled with this junk, and it included my school papers all the way from college back through pre-school. I have drastically reduced the amount of stuff that I am keeping though, so that is at least some small relief.
I think--and sincerely hope--that I have sorted through all such materials now and can move on to other tasks. I do still have some paperwork items to sort and straighten, but those are more immediate items that go into my current filing system and should hopefully not take very long to deal with.
Now that I feel I have accomplished one large task, I think that I am going to go for a jog. After a week of being buried under paperwork, I think that a little bit of fresh air and exercise would really do me some good. Besides, I need to try to get back into shape anyhow.
P.S. - I don't miss going in to work at NAPA at all yet. :-D
