I drove a 230whp Miata today.
In related news: Do I need to turbo my car? No. Do I want to turbo my car? ZOMG YES! It was totally sweet! 230 at the wheels is pretty good for such a small and light car. I think it would be more than enough for me. Also, the NB Miatas feel soooo much more refined than the NA Miatas. It felt very similar to driving the 300ZX, although slightly more cramped.
I also got to check out some different roll bar and seat options for the Miata. I think I might try to pick up some used seats from an 01-05 NB Miata. They should be a direct swap for mine (no need for custom seat rails) and fit similarly to mine, but they have a taller seat back/headrest.
