I got a reply from Sullee

So maybe you've seen The (White) Rapper Show, and maybe you haven't. Maybe you listen to rap music, and maybe you don't. One thing is clear in my mind, it is just good tv. If you didn't get a chance to see it, they are showing reruns on VH1, you can find episodes on youtube, and the VH1 website has extra behind the scenes stuff.
I thought it was a great show. One of the contestants was Robert Sullivan, stage name Sullee. In my oppinion one of the best, not just on the show, but period. Not only is his music great, but throughout the show, his personalty made me think "Wow." He came across as the guy you would kill to be your friend, a fun guy when he goofs around, but serious as hell when it comes to having your back.
I sent him a message on his myspace profile this morning. I fully understand that in all likely hood it was not him that personaly respond, even though I like to fantasize that it was. So, here it is. Check him out, buy his cd, if you are near a place where he is having a show, go see it.

I know you must get hundreds of message every day, so this will probably get lost in the mix. Reguardless, I think if you put your self out there to entertain people, and they like it the least they can do is let you know.
I did first see you on The (White) Rapper show. Although I would like to say that I was into you before all of the other sex obsessed girls. But I didn't. I saw you on the show and was hooked. Your attitude, looks, and personality, not to mention the accent (I'm from NC, I love hearing people from Boston) were more than enough to pull me in. Then when I got the chance to hear you rap....
My boyfriend thinks that I don't like rap music because I don't like HIS rap music. But I do like rap and hip hop. Throughout school I was a member of dance teams and that's mostly what we danced to. That's how I began to listen and like it. How's that saying go "it's got a beat and I can dance to it"?
Your music is exactly what I like. Playful, fun, but still thoughtful and intellegent. And at times down right serious. Songs that get stuck in your head, sometimes because they are so catchy and sometimes because the story hits you so hard.
I find your music ... well the word that comes to mine is resonating. There is always a song I want to listen to, one for happy fun moods, one for sad depressing moods, one for angry "hardcore" moods.
I find your integrity admirable. You know when it is time to be fun and when it is time to be serious. You have a very good sense of what is right and what is wrong, and you don't seem to comprimise that to get ahead.

One last thing:

My son feels you on the carolina thing, even if I'd prefer he be more of a Duke fan.

thank you very much honestly its not everyday i get something like this from someone.... im glad to see your baby wearing carolina blue instead of that ugly duke blue color hahah but thank you for real i reall y appreciate whenever someone understands what i do and i what i am trying to do here... thanks again and stay in touch...

It would be awsome if you could direct me to where to buy a cd online. I have to get my fix now listening to stuff on the computer. I checked amazon and ebay and couldn't find anything. When I was younger(I'm only 25 now) I used to go to shows and buy the cds you can't find in the store. Now that I have a son, I stay in and try to find it on the internet.
