SUCCESS!!
i FINALLY remembered something that has *literally* plagued me off and on for the last..oh i don't know..27 years!!! you see, i have this memory of being about 2 or 3, dancing in front of my babysitter's huge mirror to this funky disco tune. (yes i said DISCO, this would have been around 1979/1980) all i can remember is LOVING this song and there being some sort of "buzzing" going on in it. i could never remember the group's name...but i knew it was something like "The Bees"...so today, on my treasured office day, i decide i'm going to figure it out...and i did!! turns out the group's name is(was) "Bumblebee Unlimited" and the name of the song is "Lady Bug". AHAHHAHAHA...i am DYING...it's such a HORRIBLE song but if you listen to it you'll understand why a 2 or 3yr old would love it. ('cept for the end--it gets kinda nasty--i don't remember that!)

so then i proceed to Itunes to download some other songs that fuckin' .take. .me. .back. ...like "Electric Avenue" (Eddy Grant), "I Ran" (Flock o'Seagulls), "Destination Unknown" (Missing Persons).
oh shit i'm: A) feeling old, and B) feeling nostalgic. damn those days were so carefree
