I read Pullman's, The Golden Compass last week -very good- and have started on the next installment, The Subtle Knife. He's a brilliant writer and I'm captivated by his storytelling. Really amazing. I guess they're making a movie of Compass that's suppose to be out in the winter sometime.

I couldn't put it down and I couldn't start the next book fast enough. I can't wait to see the movie.
