Loved this! Just the right balance between sweetness and angst, I think. Perfect solution to the weirdness of Ben not attending the Parks Dept Christmas party, too.

My favourite part is probably the beginning, when he knows he'll probably get fired and he also knows that Leslie doesn't know. I love that you stress her naiveté there, because I really think it's true that she's still pretty naive about some things, even some things about city government, and it's nice to see that reflected here.

The claymation porn running gag is hilarious, and I like how torn Ben feels between the wonderfulness of the relationship and the feeling of his own uselessness. That rings very true, too. There's nothing really wrong with their relationship at this point, they're pretty much on the same page, but the circumstances they find themselves in don't exactly make things easy, either. They're not always allowed to be on the same page because of those circumstances, or there's just that nagging feeling of doubt--is she going to start resenting him? is it going to be enough for her if they never work together again?--and that really came through, beautifully. Excellent!
