This is long and you dont have to read all of it. I wanted to figure out a way to post what i was feeling. This is just as good as any. If you can help please do something. Please. we are so fortunate.

JNANCE1017: you know how Bush initially put up 35 mil. while he was surveying the conditions and impact on Sunday? well I agree that wasnt enough, but I mean everyone knew we would put up way more anyway.... but okay well you have to know something else baout my political views

JNANCE1017: Republicans or Conservatives or whatever you want to say have this stigma of not wanting to help or not being compassionate which just pisses me off to no end because HELLO! so like with poor people or homeles... i feel like it is much more the responsibility of Americans to shoulder that burden and do something about it than the government.. and same thing with this. yeah Bush should set the example and he has now we are leading in funds, and not to mention the fact the we deployed like 10 ships and desalination tanks and supplies over there on Sunday which no one cares about... well anyway i think that the government should set an example the way it has but I firmly believe that it is up to the American people... like the way Pfizer jumped up and gave like 50$ and WalMart gave 100$ and so on.. all these companies, big and small, rich and poor, and tons and tons of people, doctors, and other volunteers are jumping up to help. well thats how i think it should be...

JNANCE1017: so anyway the guy KEPT SAYING OVER AND OVER AND OVER that Republicans arent compassionate and Republicans arent goodhearted and dont care about humanity and blah blah blah blah blah.... and so then i went ranting and raving like 10-fold what i just did to you about it but then i realized that i have to practice what im preaching so 100$ it is and whatever is in my savings account

JNANCE1017: i couldnt watch CNN or anything today.. im just so sad about it all. everytime i think about it i feel so useless cause i cant help ya know
kaye2690: it actually sounds fun to have a summer job and not feel quite so dependent ....i know...adn then my dad and i started to talking about all the suffering of just the past 40 years and then i think all life is hopeless and painful so i try not to think about it about so much which is awful

JNANCE1017: they are having this civil war over there ya know... everything is covered in landmines... all the relief workers are terrified to go anywhere there.. and who could blame them

kaye2690: whole towns wiped out and the water and dead rotting bodies in the street and disease and orphans and no relief and crap everywhere and LANDMINES

kaye2690: devastated people arent up for wars maybe?
JNANCE1017: maybe people will come together in their despair

i dont know that anyone in their right mind would read all of that... but its really really important to me. its not just the responsibility of the governments and the UN... its our job as fellow humans.
