I heart Republicans
This morning I woke up to find that not only was Bush almost guaranteed a victory, but that BOTH THE HOUSE AND THE SENATE are RED!!!!!! I am so proud of my Republicans.
I left CNN long enough to go to the doctor and find out that I have BOTH a bacterial and viral infection.. Kate called me while I was waiting to have my blood drawn to tell me that Kerry had officially conceded. So happy, but being that I'm sick and have no voice I cant go out and yell and scream and be really excited like I want to....
I cried when Kerry gave his concession speech. He's a good man - - - just not what America needs right now. But I also feel really bad for the die-hard Democrats that are having a rough day. I know how I would feel if it had gone the other way. I would be a very very upset person.
I really really cried when Bush gave his speech. I.. oh.. I cant even describe it. Amanda and I- we knew. We didnt lose faith. And it was so fun when he thanked everyone who had made phone calls and volunteered because he was TALKING TO ME. I love that. I love politics. I love being a Republican.
