Morbidity and Mortality
My mother is looking to be finishing her 3rd week in hospital. Her condition deteriorated last night, she cant walk and is on oxygen now. She's not having a great time as you may have guessed.
Between the malpractice of doctors, one of which tried to kill her a few times, the awkward annoying people she shares a ward with and the nurses who are afraid to stand up to nuisance patients (except stereotypically the big black nurse who dont take crap), she's having a hard time of it.
She was due to come home today, it was quite a shock to see her hooked up to a canister of oxygen and seeing her inability to walk after seeming to get so much better.
