Post Spring Break
Well its been a long time since I updated so this will be a longer entry than my normal. Turns out my music history test was delayed until this wednesday due to the fact that my prof got sick. So that definately lightened up my week before spring break. Spring break was pretty fun in many respects although it could've been better at the same time. Some of my friends from Pittsburgh drove down and visited me on friday night and then on saturday we all drove from here to virginia beach. We were all too poor to afford the hotel rates down there so we decided to camp out. We got a huge 8 person tent and camped out for 3 nights in VA beach. The weather didn't make it seem like much of a beach, it was about 50degrees on saturday night and preceeded to get colder as the days went on. On top of that, there was a huge electrical storm with high winds and torrential downpour on sunday night so basically we were all in the tent hoping that it wouldn't blow away with us in it. We did get one beach day in, it was a bout 55 degrees outside but we didn't care, we were going to get at least 1 day at the beach in for all of the driving we did to get there. There was nobody out! Not one other person on the beach. No spring break college girls anywhere, not one :(. This made me sad, I was hoping to see groups of college ppl down in VA beach for spring break. After our time was up at VA beach we drove back to Pittsburgh where I spent the remaining time of my break sitting on my ass doing nothing. It was pretty lonely and lets just say that being single is taking its toll on me haha. Now I'm back in VA once more, somewhat glad and somewhat sad that I didn't get to have a more eventful spring break. Don't worry though, its not a sad "I'm crying and depressed" sad. Just disappointed. Well thats it for now, I'm gonna gargle some salt water cuz I'm feeling a slight sore throat and I want to keep it from getting nasty.
