January 2009: Family Visits
Some of the family came to visit our "old" rental house in January 2009!
January 2009: Wisdom Teeth Removal
I paid a few grand to have surgery to have my wisdom teeth taken out; all I have to show for it is a few holes in my mouth and a bag full of this crap!
February 2009: Our One Year Wedding Anniversary
Who knew we'd survive one year from the day that this photo was taken. And we're just as smitten with each other as we were on that day!!!
March 2009: Bought our first home
Technically, we closed on the house on April 1, but I'll count it as March since most of the grunt work was done in that month!
April 2009: Painting the Bedroom
I've always wanted a bluish/green bedroom and finally, I could have it! Of course, the stipulation was that *I* had to paint it alone. So I did. And it's beautiful!
April 2009: Painting the Kitchen
In buying my own home, I finally got to paint my kitchen whatever color I wanted.... and what color have I always loved?? BRIGHT YELLOW!!! And yes, it really is *that* bright!
April 2009: Wicked!
April 28, 2009 I got to see what is now an obsession of mine: Wicked at the Florida Theater! Thanks to my wonderful husband!
June 2009: Ainsley Turned 1!
June 30 Ainsley Mae turned 1.
Oh, and I lost my job in June. :-p
July 2009: Family Visits
The whole family (except Mom & Dad) came to visit our new house in July 2009!
July 2009: Jon turned 34!
We celebrated at Schula's 347 Grill! Yummy steak!
August 2009: A New Addiction
I found the joy of HSN and QVC. Don't ask. It's wonderful though.
September 2009: The Great Bloomsburg Fair
While going home for a very short vacation (and so glad we did), we made a visit to the Great Bloomsburg Fair. Jon had never been before and it was quite an experience!!
September 2009: The Great Pumpkin
While home in PA, we made a trek to "borrow" some pumpkins from a friends' field. Jon had never seen a pumpkin that was still in the "wild", so we made him crawl through the field to get some.
October 2009: Kelly's Birthday Celebration
We took Kelly to Disney (Hollywood Studios to be exact) to celebrate her 14th birthday. She even got to miss a day of school for it!!
October 2009: Mam
One of the best grandmothers to ever cross this earth was lost in 2009. Nancy M. (Janney) Fox, March 11, 1937 - October 15, 2009... I miss you, Mam.
October 2009: Pumpkin Festival
While it was the hardest thing our family had to do in a while, despite Mam passing away only two days before the event, we made sure it went off without a hitch. Mam would have been proud of us being able to pull through it and have it be such a success. We did the entire Pumpkin Festival in her memory and collected money to donate to the "Save the Dam" fund in Benton that she was so supportive of.
November 2009: Thanksgiving at the Crawford's
We celebrated Thanksgiving as we always do: at Jon's Dad's house. This year, Cleta had a bit of an issue with the turkey not cooking as quickly as she had thought, but dinner was delicious and the company was wonderful as always!

There were 19 people at Christmas dinner at my uncle's house on Christmas day. Such a wonderful way to celebrate!!!!
