I just baked a pie!
A pumpkin pie to be precise. It smells soooo good. I think that is why I like this time of year, pumpkins, crisp clean air, changing leaves and sweaters all are the great things that come with fall.
It is a bit warm today at 80 degrees (F) and the sun is out but it's really nice outside and I am grateful for that. I am currently working on my practicum project, putting together a powerpoint for my group's presentation on Monday night and then working on the details of my business report for Financing Healthcare class. I am actually in the mood to do my homework and get things done today, probably because there's a lot going on at work right now and I want to get them off my mind.
My parents are going to their friends' 50th anniversary party tonight so I will be on my own for dinner and Matt and I will probably get some or he can come over and we can cook something together. What? I have no idea because we don't have that much stuff to cook things with right now. Most of the stuff in the pantry is either tea, breakfast bars, cookies, or treats for Phantom. The refrigerator is pretty empty and I'm not sure what is in the freezer. It is really weird to see the fridge be so empty because usually it's stuffed.
I tried to print up some business cards, but word doesn't seem to be responding and online it doesn't want to load the templates, so it's been a little frustrating. I will try again this afternoon.
well I better get back to work so I can have some fun this weekend. I am going to bush gardens tomorrow for some howl-o-scream, which is gonna be great, like always! :)
