2K6 Movies
Part three of my that was the year that was, and here's my movie intake for 2006. I never seem to be able to get to the flicks as much as I would like, but I did pack some in over the past twelve months. There were a notable number of sequels (a good quarter of the total number) and a handful of remakes/reimaginings of old movies that rose or fell according to their similarity or lack thereof to the original. Top pick of the year for me is Casino Royale, the brilliant "Bond Begins" relaunch of the 007 franchise.
