So it was my birthday yesterday and as such I'm reflective mood today.
It's been a busy couple of weeks, finishing up the script for the Maelstrom videogame, writing a short story for a forthcoming anthology, proofing my Stargate Atlantis novel Halcyon and putting together notes on the revised and updated edition of my book on film director David Fincher - the days are just packed.
I decided to reward myself for all the hard work and surviving another year stuff with some new firepower; I also got some nice swag, dinner and a movie (Mission Impossible III).
