And here's my final time-waste review of last year, looking over the movies I saw. I did as I intended, making the effort to see more films this time, and by coincidence I kinda book-ended 2011 with the Robert Downey Jr/Jude Law Sherlock Holmes movies - although I didn't visit the cinema as much as I wanted to.

Best flicks of the year for me were X-Men: First Class and the live-action Space Battleship Yamato, which both did some very cool stuff with their source material.
