Okay, I haven't posted in a while. I took something huge to get me going again. And this is it... Bush says results of hurricane response 'not acceptable'. And incidentally, CNN is a NEWS organization. Its job is to report the news and put stories into context. Like it or not, how the hurricane fits into the context of Bush's presidency is news. Does that sound cold and callous and make your heart bleed for poor President Bush? I'm sure it does. But that's the way it goes.

I feel sad and somewhat ashamed for the rest of my party that they've made you so cynical. You say that liberals are politicizing the situation - how? Bush isn't the only one to blame and I've never said he was. Kathleen Babineaux Blanco, DEMOCRATIC governor of Louisiana, bears far more of the blame for what's happened than Bush does and I'm happy to say so. Am I turning on my own party, Jeff? Am I a Democratic partisan or not?

You need to take a few deep breaths before you respond to this and think about what you say before you say it. You know I'm not politicizing this because you know I'm not that kind of person. I have not gotten personal in this debate, and you have. It's beneath you, and the fact that I have to tell you that is beneath both of us.

I never said liberals are politicizing the situation. I'm saying people that are politicizing the situation are assholes. And it's the absolute truth, asshole.

Did you take your deep breath and think or did you just spew?

I hope someday that you'll see that what you just said was fucked up and that I'll get an apology. In the meantime, conversation over. This time I mean it.
