my mom's a nursery school teacher, and she does a chicken or duck unit every year...the life cycle and all that stuff. this year we're doing ducks, and instead of keeping them for a few weeks after they hatch like she always does, she's gonna keep a couple for a bit longer....i'm gonna have ducks!
hee. this amuses me to no end. they're so cute! :-)
but she got 18 eggs...if they're all fertilized...and if they all hatch...my mom said she'll have to make another box to keep them in. omg, the quacking will be outrageous. we only had 8 ducks a couple years ago. 18? craziness.
