Happy and Busy
So...no postage for a really long time. Lot's going on, here's the important stuff:
So technically I could graduate in May, and I still might do that. But I am considering adding a child development minor to my degree. I could probably do it in one semester which means I'd still be graduating in January and it would open up a few more opportunities for me which would allow me to (more easily) move out of my mom's house which I plan to do by the end of this year or the beginning of next year. But it's still up in the air a bit. I am just trying to make sure it's the right decision before I go through with the whole ordeal.
I'm currently taking five classes to finish my Poli. Sci. degree and surprisingly, the five classes I'm taking now are easier than the three I took last semester. Don't ask me how that works, but yeah. I might have a babysitting job. I found an online site where you can build a profile and apply to adds for babysitting jobs. I applied to one in which the lady only needs me Fri. and Sat. nights. So that fits in well with school and still gives me freedom plus it pays pretty well. I'm pretty stoked about it because I haven't had a steady babysitting job since a long time, so it might be kinda fun. Plus it gives me something to put on a resume. I'm also doing an internship at the Children's Center on campus and I love it. I get to spend my Mon./Wed. afternoons playing with preschoolers and I might even get school credit for it.
Things between Jordan and I are going pretty good. Actually, things between us when we are actually together are great....possibly even amazing. It's the time we have to spend apart that makes things difficult. But we're still going at it. If we can get through the next month and a half, it will be so much better. I'll be going there for spring break and two weeks later he's coming to visit on his vacation. Three weeks after that I will hopefully be in my car driving cross country to spend the summer with him. But I love him more day by day and things are generally going well.
Today, despite my unwritten report which is due next Friday I drove to Little Corona Del Mar and tried out my new camera. I have a desire to learn photography, as in non-digital I focus and all that by myself. So my dad bought me a camera for my birthday and I've been itching to really try it. But since there's a lack of interesting subjects to photograph round my house I betook myself to the beach. It was a nice little excursion, I'm particularly excited about a little old couple I photographed while they were reading together on a bench overlooking the sea. Hopefully the pics turn out because they were adorable.
